Excavation and Mechanical Design and Production For The Wandering Earth

We participated in the production of The Wandering Earth in terms of exoskeleton costumes, props, and machines. The military exoskeleton kits that appear in the film include clothing, shoes, exoskeleton movable machinery, should blades, helmets, backpacks, finger bones, submachine guns, pistols, hammers and the actor of Zhou Qian, as well as other personalized accessories such as Gatlin machine guns, medical needles, etc.
The exoskeletons’ original garments, shoes, exoskeleton movable parts, shoulder blades, helmets, and backpacks were created by Weta Workshop, and we were in charge of some of the rest of the bones, submachine guns, pistols and personalized modifications for each character. Our team spent two weeks in New Zealand and learned from Weta Workshop on how to create complicated exoskeletons and discussing how to make our parts fit the parts created by Weta.
We created about a hundred of props and costumes for close shooting in the film and involves 30 major categories, from small items such as finger bones, rifles, medical needles, drone remote controller, to large items flint, flint shells, underground rail car, airbag ball for Liu Qi, as well as all of the soft packs, seats, space suits, dormant bins of the space station and the EMP device that Liu Peiqiang used to cracked the hatch.

我们参与了《流浪地球》外骨骼服装、道具、以及枪械部分。影片中所出现的军用外骨骼套装包括服装、鞋子、外骨骼可动机械、肩胛、头盔、背包、指骨骼、冲锋枪、手枪，像锤子和周倩的角色还有其余的个性化配件，如：锤子的加特林机枪、医疗针等。

外骨骼最初的服装、鞋子、外骨骼可动机构、肩胛、头盔、背包原件是维塔工作室制作，我们负责制作剩余的部分指骨骼、冲锋枪、手枪以及各角色的个性化改装。我们的团队在新西兰待了两周时间，和维塔工作室学习怎么制做那些复杂的外骨骼以及一起讨论如何使其余部件如何与维塔设计的外骨骼保持风格上的一致。

我们共计为影片制作了数百件近景特殊道具及特殊服装。总共涉及30个大类。小到随身装备：指骨骼、步枪、治疗针、无人机遥控器，大到火石、火石外壳、地下城轨道车，刘启的气囊球等。还有太空站的所有的软包、座椅、宇航服、休眠仓、以及刘培强破解舱门的EMP装置。
